Employee Engagement and Motivation


  1. Engaged employee is defined as one who is fully absorbed by and enthusiastic about their work and so takes positive action to further the company’s reputation and interests. On the other side employee motivation is an intrinsic and internal drive to put forth the necessary effort and action towards work-related activities. An engaged employee has a positive attitude towards the company and its values.
  2. Employee engagement and motivation is based on trust, integrity, two way commitment and communication between company and its members. It is an approach that increases the chances of business success, contributing to company’s performance; individual productivity and well-being. It can be measured. It varies from poor to great. It can be nurtured and dramatically increased.
